The AxioScan 7 Slide Scanner from Zeiss is convenient for automated imaging of tissue sections located on several slides.

Applications in brief

The AxioScan 7 slide scanner has a capacity of loading 100 standard-sized slides at the same time. The widefield scanning system creates high resolution images in brightfield and multi-fluorescence for all magnifications. Precise image stitching for all magnification objectives makes screening of small animal brain slices to large specimens fast and convenient. Seamless switching between micro and macro observation modes enable swift viewing of regions of interest and overall structures. Identified regions can be saved and loaded into the LSM900 in the neighbouring booth for confocal or super-resolution imaging.
